In my capacity as the exhibition's design lead for "Penetrate," I held a pivotal role in overseeing both the graphic design elements and advertising components. I used software like Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign to create our graphics and promotional materials.

Exhibition Theme

In today's ever-connected world, polarization has become a concerning issue, stifling the diversity of thought and hindering the free exchange of ideas. People are getting more and more drawn to echo chambers where they reinforce their own beliefs and shut out alternative viewpoints. Ideas are pushed to extreme ends, passing through the fact that they should be focused on, and leaving no room for nuanced and open-minded discussions. What is the appropriate way to express a controversial opinion? Where is the borderline to express any opinion without censorship or restraint?

One of the prevailing characteristics of this generation is that people tend to be highly sensitive to ideological and moral values. They also feel a growing pressure to conform to the prevailing public opinions. This creates an atmosphere where individuals feel compelled to align themselves with a particular ideology, even if it doesn’t fully reflect their own personal convictions, and people start to give up their genuine thoughts and beliefs.

The definition is a broad term. The word "penetrate" should not be defined by society but by each individual who has experienced it.
